“I wonder if anyone else feels like this sometimes”…. is a thought everyone has at some point in their lives, especially kiddos!   Following in Taylor Swift’s footsteps, we will try our hand at writing some poetry, songs, monologues, or short scenes that explore some of the challenges of being a kid these days.  Maybe we will rewrite the lyrics to “It’s a Hard Knock Life” into a song about seeing someone alone one the playground.  Or we might write and act out a skit about trying to deal with an annoying sibling. Or maybe we will write a monologue about all the wonderful ordinary things that happen in our day to day lives.

Our SOTIs- offer fun, wholesome, and engaging activities, crafts, and mini performances for kids based on a specific theme on those random days off from school throughout the year.  Students are here from 9 am to 4 pm.  Everyone brings a sack lunch, and we provide an afternoon snack.  When the weather permits, we can move some games and activities outside to get some fresh air.
